1. My name is Anh Phan and as I have written as above, I am the translator
for VLC in Vietnamese.

>From the 2009, I loved the idea of VLC, providing a good way in
communicating and streaming method for everybody in free. That’s the reason
I chosen to joined in the project.

At the time I joined in, there wasn’t any thing called Transifex, I had to
download the PO file and edit it.

The person as I knew who was, is, and will be The Real Maintainer in
Translation, is Christopher Miebach, not someone, just by one entry in the
whole translation, jumped in and threatened me.



Vietnamese Translation Software is a new community, a free community, a
forums which I am going to set up.

In that forum, not just VLC, it will hold about over 200 projects of
Vietnamese Translation for software all around the globe.



That’s the reason why I have put the phrase of Vietnamese Translation
Software in the entry “About VLC” on iOS translation.



Why did I set up a free forums just for containing the translation of
Vietnamese of softwares?

Till now, the trend of localization for Vietnamese is just a bunch of
folks, who like at this time, translate the X project, after that time,
they refused to continue.

They translated with no rules set for standard translation.

So, the idea for a forums, where will set the standard for translation and
host a collection up-to-date localization for Vietnamese has become my plan.



VLC is a community, where the postion of each person is declared and
decided by the maintainer of Translation Group not made by a choice from a
suddenly programmer from no where.

He claimed that by the entry I put in, he doesn’t agree and now he deleted
the whole of my translation.



What is this?

Is the a group of working together, sharing together the energy of Freedom
Software?

OR

This is a group that depends on just one guy, the dictator in the real time?



Vietnamese is a language that I am fluent. What do you think about one day,
a guy from Germany, sends to you a pm and “I wont accept that”, and he just
a programmer, not the in-charge of Translation Group in maintaining?



I got the threatening private message from a guy, and what is the justice
for this?



I come to VLC with my sharing emotion, not coming here for threating in
receiving.

I am not a criminal, I am a translator with heart and soul, and who is
going to fuck around with me just waited for the shit of it motherfucker.



2. By all the content in 1 section, the position of maintaining the
language for translation has to be reviewed again.



We can’t not let a guy who just walks in, and not Christopher Miebach,
demands you to withdraw all your hard-working in translation, demands you
to do this and do that with just a bull shit reason.



I was demanded to delete the whole of my translation just for 1 entry.

I was demanded in obeying the command from a dictator.
I was demanded in withdrawing the whole beautiful things that I have
created for my babe: VLC by whom?

Where are you Christopher?



What will you do when that person threatened your friends?



Where is the justice for a little translator in Vietnam?



Where is my right to say, to speak for myself?



Where is the real meaning of dictatorship in VLC?



Is dictatorship a part of VLC translation?



NO.



This person has to be deleted from the community of VLC.

This person has to be outdated from the developers of VLC.

This person created a threatening emotion not just to the translator, but
also to the whole community of VLC.



Today, I will get what?


I speak for the truth, the justice, the right which I am holding.

I speak for my position, for my fellows of the other translator.



What do you think the next person would be you?

Don’t stay there, speak for your own idea, thinking, and most of all, to
against the new dictatorship in leading this project.
