   I could not test the gettext behaviour on 0.11.x releases older than
0.11.3, maybe this is the problem. Do you have the "autopoint" command?
If you do, then you can change bootstrap so that it checks for gettext
0.11.1 instead of 0.11.3. Otherwise, try to install a 0.10.x version.
