Hi:

I get a bunch of 'Possible deadlock detected in cond_wait' messages
while playing Vanilla Sky, such as this:

I have tried all the audio modes I have, including arts, alsa, sdl, esd
and dsp, with the same results.

The disk is region 1, running SuSE 8.1 with the stock kernel, gcc
version 3.2, gtk interface, xvideo. VLC is compiled from sources (vlc
0.4.6_2002-11-16 Ourumov Copyright 1996-2002 VideoLAN). I have tried
apperture sizes of 128 and 32 in the bios with no difference. I turned
off SB compatibility in the bios because 8.1 hated it and locked the
system up constantly. Bios 5.6 for an MSI-6368.
