[vlc-devel] How to stream from network (using localhost)?

Hi,

   Is there any way that I can start vlc
network-streaming using localhost? Because I just use
the default settings (UDP at port 1234) and it seems
like the server address and binding address fields are
empty (instead of having 127.0.0.x). Or should I be
changing something in the settings?
