[vlc-devel] Mac OS X Build System

Dear All,

I've build vlc0.52 on Mac OS X 10.2.3 using the tips on
<http://developers.videolan.org/vlc/osx-compile.html>.	Everything is
very easy and works fine on my development machine.

If I move this file to other machine and the application doesn't work
anymore…

	dyld: /Users/apple/Desktop/VLC.app/Contents/MacOS/VLC can't open
library: /usr/lib/libdl.0.dylib (No such file or directory, errno = 2)
Mar 31 17:42:33 Computador-do-scanner crashdump: Crash report written
to: /Users/apple/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/VLC.crash.log

The official distribution works fine on both machines.
In fact I'd like to know if there's any way to create a application
that will work on 'every mac' without install all libs, developer tools
and so on…
Ok, I know that there's a way but how? If I open the application
package and change my application executable at
VLC.app/Contents/MacOS/VLC by the official distribution everything
works fine (ie: the problem is not with modules so I think that there's
a compiling/linking option that I'm not aware of…

Thanks!

Fabio Ribeiro
