[vlc-devel] Default configure options

Over the past month i have seen several reports where ppl were having
problems, and in the end they had forgotten to use --enable-ffmpeg. It
see no reason why by default this should be turned off.
ffmpeg works on most platforms, and there's always the header detection
to check if it's installed.

So i thought it might be a good idea to change this. For that matter, i
c some other strange things in ./configure --help that i think deserve
to change.

I propose to enable the following things by default.
--enable-dvdread dvdread input module (default disabled)
--enable-dvdplay dvdplay input module (default disabled)
   --enable-mad libmad module (default disabled)
   --enable-ffmpeg ffmpeg codec (default disabled)

These are worth being considered, but i'm having doubts about these.
   --enable-faad faad codec (default disabled)
   --enable-xvid xvid codec (default disabled)

Alsa should be improved and become the default, since it's gonna be the
kernel 2.6 audio system.
--enable-alsa ALSA sound support for Linux (default
disabled)
