Hello, all ...

OK, VLC from CVS built earlier yesterday, but now:

So, evidently things are a-changin' way faster than the maintainers of
the /usr/local archive can keep up. I've no problem with this, and to
be truthful, I want to learn how to fish :-) So, is there anything
special I need to do (besides get the latest CVS snapshot of the
matroska and ogg stuff, build them, and copy the relevant include/,
bin/ and lib/ to /usr/local) to maintain my own /usr/local myself (so I
don't need to bug the list about stuff like this)?

Regards,

John
