[vlc-devel] Multichannel...

Hi all,

I'm trying to playback a simple 5.1 wav file, but it comes out as mono.
A brief glance through aout_OutputNew seems to indicate support for 
only up to stereo....
is this the case?  Debug output shows that VLC is correctly detecting 
the input (3F2R/LFE), but the filter created outputs to Mono...

what is the status with multichannel support in VLC?
