The patch will get applied eventually. The reasons why it hasn't been yet is 
that we recently were in a feature freeze (with 0.8.0 coming out) and I 
already had too much in my plate anyway so a patch like this with very 
limited usefullness didn't really catch my interest.
Anyway, because it doesn't really add much code, I don't really have 
anything against applying it.

And btw, when a patch gets unnoticed, just keep bugging us. It's easy to 
discard mails when you are too busy and then forget about them.
