I build VLC removing the following plugins.

1. plugin_access_http
2. plugin_access_output_udp
3. plugin_float32_mixer
4. plugin_hotkeys
5. plugin_mp4
6. plugin_mux_ts
7. plugin_vout_directx
8. plugin_wave_out

Are these plugins required to demux TS file and decode and playback ac3 audio and mpeg2 video?

After building I tried to run VLC with a sample file. The file didn't playback.
I got the following messages on the console.
Any idea what these mean?

[00000058] dummy interface: VLC media player - version 0.7.2 Bond - (c) 1996-200
4 VideoLAN
[00000058] dummy interface:
Warning: if you can't access the GUI anymore, open a dos command box, go to the
directory where you installed VLC and run "vlc -I wxwin"

[00000058] dummy interface: Using the dummy interface module...
[00000059] main input: playlist item `c:\ski.mpg'
[00000061] main decoder error: no suitable decoder module for fourcc `mpgv'.
VLC probably does not support this sound or video format.
[00000062] mpeg_audio decoder: MPGA channels:2 samplerate:48000 bitrate:256
[00000063] main audio output error: couldn't find a filter for the conversion
[00000063] main audio output error: couldn't set an input pipeline

Thanks & Regs,
Raks

It doesn't say it isn't possible, it says that it is a pain in the ass so we
don't support that. But with some tweaking on your part it should work.
It also tells you why your debugger doesn't work properly.
