[vlc-devel] Win32 file association problem/fix

Hi, I came across a problem with file associations in win32 whereby if 
the path to VLC is not 8.3 compatable (e.g. has space (Like C:\Program 
Files\...)), only the short filename of a file is passed to VLC when 
opening the file from windows explorer etc. This causes problems for 
things such as automatically finding subtitle files. Is this a known 
issue and is it fixed in CVS in the current installer?
