[vlc-devel] How to put a RTSP stream to a file?

Hi, all,
       I want to save a RTSP stream to a file, I modified the source code of livedotcom.cpp, and save data to the desired file while the live.com module call the StreamRead and StreamClose function.
  But after the program run, I find that the saved file isn't the same as the source file, the head and tail has been cut.
  Can anyone tell me how to get the head information and tail for the source file?

  P/S: I have another problem, can VLC work as a RTSP server? I only find it can stream out RTP stream and no RTSP options prompted.
