Well, that's expected from the user support forum, however, what I'm missing
is a place where some more experienced topics could be opened (including
bug reports). If such posts are directed into the user support forum,
they disappear unnoticed between lots of other topics. Even bug report
I've posted here with attached patches is not yet in the source or
even trac - for example:

Bugzilla doesn't seem to be used anymore and trac is closed for
developers-only...
