Hi
Unfortunately it's not possible to use VLC (yet)
as publishing point input for WMS2003, the server
doesn't accept the stream.
Wild guesses involve wrong length value passed in
the negotiation/setup when the server tries to
connect or perhaps some missing parameters that
WME (Windows Media Encoder) does provide.
This needs a bit some more investigation into the
MMS protocol..

Hi everyone
Is it possible to use a vlc output stream as input for windows media
services 2003? I could not get it to work, wms says that the source is
not a compatible encoder. i've checked the http response and it's
different from the response the windows media encoder gives.
Is there a way to easily fix this?
thanks!
