It was indeed a long time since un run completly the contribs. 
So on Debian Sid crosscompiling with mingw-gcc 3.4.5, i got no problem
with freetype, but speex, ffmpeg and x264 don't compile or the patches
don't apply.

I'll try to have a look this we. there is also QT4 and sdl to add.
