I found the same conclusion, that aminet is sure disturbed by audio. I 
know that becouse i analised multicast streams with and without FixPES. 
I was analyzing it with cisco  mpeg analyzer. I fund out that  stream 
with FixPES enabled didn't had any buffer on audio, and stream without 
FixPES had buffer.

Sorry i don't have screnshots here that you would understand it easier.
