[vlc-devel] Weird problems with libmpeg2 and gcc >= 3.4

Hi all,


  after several attempts to find a reason for weird VLC behaviour during
aspect-ratio changes in the MPEG2 stream it finally seems the problem is
related to use of gcc >= 3.4

  With gcc-2.95 or mingw gcc 3.3.1, libmpeg2-0.4.1 works fine.
With mingw gcc 3.4.5 used since March for Win32 contribs things fail.
Failures are also on other platforms with latest gcc.
