We'd just have to copy/paste
http://webcvs.freedesktop.org/dbus/dbus/dbus/dbus-sysdeps-pthread.c?view=markup

and copy/paste platform specific files from D-Bus as soon as D-Bus supports it, the only problem with that particular issue is redundancy.
