  Someone tried your suggestion and got the following error.
   
  You can try removing those three exe files from usr/win32/bin but that won't fix the problem. The Makefile in modules\gui\qt4 has code that uses them:
   
  at line 423
  MOC = /usr/win32/bin/moc
   
  and at line 3782
  .hpp.moc.cpp:
      $(MOC) -o $@ $<
   
  
I tried it and still get errors relating to moc.
   
   
   
  Any suggestions?

It is not the "Windows distribution", it is the "Windows contrib" to
build the Windows binaries. 

And you can see that you can do it from linux and from windows. So you
need both executables to satisfy both community.
