Hi Bitmap,

Thank you so mutch for replying so quickly.
I tried switching off "Formatted subtitles" as you suggested and it did the trick.
Sorry i didn't think about that myself... I have posted this sub file on your private
address.

The video i use is an AVI file, probably ripped from a DVD :
Deadwood - S01xE01 - Deadwood.avi
It has the HAS_INDEX_IS_INTERLEAVED parameter set.

Below are the informations given by vlc about that stream :

flux 0 :
  Codec : XVID
  Type : video
  Resolution : 676x376
  fps : 23.976

flux 1:
  Codec : mpga
  Type : audio
  Channels : 2
  Sampling frequency : 44.1kHz
  rate : 112kb/s

flux 2:
  Codec : subt
  Type : subtitles
