[vlc-devel] xvidcore support

All,

I have an Au1200 which has a built in acceleration engine for MPEG4(and
WMV9).  The problem is the only interface to our driver is through XVidCore
library.  We have been using mplayer up until now, but mplayer is just
terrible to work with.

I see that subversion has a xvid.c at version 6961, this is a couple
thousand revisions ago. In the comments it was "rotten" code... so no one
was maintaining it.  Would I get any help in updating this file?  Is there
any interest in adding xvidcore support back to VLC?
