I second this, as our OSX forum is almost flooded by reports about
crashes in fullscreen mode, which are mostly triggered by the
fspanel. These bugs are fixed in 0.8.6-bugfix and well tested. IMO,
just packaging and some final tests by non-developers will need to be
done and 0.8.6b can be released, at least for OSX. That's why, I'd
say March 31st would be okay for releasing that minor update, which
would turn VLC actually usable on Macs.
I agree with Jean-Baptiste to branch the current trunk in 3 weeks, so
we can finally get this until May to have a good base for SoC.
