Wait for the Mac OS X VLC.framework :)

Alternativly you could lurk in the sources, but I guess trying to use  
the framework would be your best solution. For now it is not finished  
by you can already have a look at it. If you need more help on this  
side, I'll be happy to ear about the problems you encounter.
