[vlc-devel] magnify filter: how to detect vout has come back?

Hi,

When the magnify filter is added to the filter chain it stops and
restarts vout. Is there a way to detect the period when there is no
vout? I want to make sure no action is taken on a non-existent vout
during that time. I would postpone these until a vout is active again.

I am using libvlc 0.9.0.
