[vlc-devel] A question about VLC from a student

I'm a French student and I have to do a school project on VLC. I need some help about how VLC communicates with the module ffmpeg ? More precisely, I would know which function VLC uses to set the bitrate (defined by the user) via ffmpeg ?

In fact the goal of the project is to develop a system of adaptative bitrate for VLC...
