I submitted some patches for supporting Trick/Scaled playback support
against live555 media server (and Kasenna) already. If I recall
correctly it was at some point in November 2007. From what I recall,
the patches where mostly accepted, though some where applied to trunk
commented out as nobody was able/interested in testing them at the time.
So a good chunk of the work should be in there. I don't mind lending a
hand to get these pushed over the line and fully committed if there's
someone at the VLC side of things interested in verifying the work.
