The relevant flag would be --disable-wxwidgets.
But the wxwidgets interface is now deprecated and not enable by
default and not enable in the nightlies. It isn't present in the
tarballs. You can still try to compile it from git but there is no
guaranty.

It was a developer decision. WxWidgets have all sort of bug starting
with unicode, scroll bar, inconsitent behaviour between release, ...

If it's a build-depend then i forgot to remove it.
If it's a dependancies of a package it's more tricky. Which package
does depends on it ?
