Hello VLVC team,

The videolan team is switching to use git as it main repository. At the
same time the switch is made a branch for stabilizing vlc-0.9.0 is
created. This means that the integration of VLVC changes can be done in
the unstable branch without further delaying the vlc-0.9.0 timeframe.

I would suggest that your team creates small patches (group
functionality, for instance) against the unstable after the VideoLAN
team finished the move to git and created the 0.9.0 branch. The patch
files must be sent in uncompressed/clear text (no .zip, .rar, .tar.gz)
to aid the reviewing of the changes. I must warn for large patches,
because they take a lot of time to review and check. So please send a
series of small patches to speed up the integration of your changes into
  vlc unstable.

Thank you.

Jean-Paul Saman.
