[vlc-devel] about vlc compile

Dear all,
     Can I compile vlc with the vlc.dsw in the folder msvc in windows? what
should I conform to? Is there any manual about vlc compiling?
When I compile it in Linux, it cant compile correctly, too. Who can tell me
how to compile it in windows and Linux? Thank you in advance!
