[vlc-devel] problem with plugin_mp4

Dear all,

I compiled vlc-0.8.4 for wince OS, and using libavcodec for decoding.
I found that the plugin_mp4 can correctly convert mpeg4 coded .mp4 file to
mp4v elementary stream for libavcodec decoding. But it can not correctly
convert h264 coded .mp4 file to h264 elementary stream for libavcodec
decoding.
Why does it happens? Do i need to revise plugin_mp4 to support h264 .mp4
file.

Any directions? Thanks!
