That's the whole point of the broadcast mode.

No. VOD creates one input per client. Contrary to broadcast, this allows the
client to seek or pause. Obviously, if the input does not support seek nor
pause, this is a complete waste (plus you get all the VoD bugs - broadcast is
much more stable).
