Im also interested in a WinCE Port of VLC.
I don't have currently enough time to help with
porting, but can help with testing or other stuff.

My idea was to use only libvlc in wince and create
a custom mfc gui. That would fit better in a hand held
device.

I have a WinCE build environment installed (eVC4),
but didn't like the way over cygwin very much
(never tried to get it compiled).

It would be great, if we can use a branch of the
current GIT repository of VLC for this purpose.
