[vlc-devel] Query: ASF muxer in VLC

Hi All,

	I wanted to discuss you about using VLC's asf.c to be made as gstreamer
plug-in.
If i want to use asf.c as Gstreamer plug-in, i think there are dependencies
of asf.c on other modules to.

#include <vlc/vlc.h>
#include <vlc/input.h>
#include <vlc/sout.h>

#include "codecs.h"

Where are the following functions called, I did not find them in asf.c code
	vlc_module_begin();
	vlc_module_end();
There are many other such functions for which i am not able to get there
reference.

So just wanted to be clear, Can i jst use the asf.c of VLC and use it as
Gstreamer plug-in. Or do i have many other dependencies to be consider.

I would be very thankful to you if you tell me which all files should be
taken into consideratio to make asf.c as Gstreamer plug-in.

	Orelse  if i use asf.c only as gstreamer plug-in will that work.

If possible please suggest me some ideas and links to understand the asf.c
faster.I have very less time to implement this.

If you know both Gstreamer and VLC plugin architectures well, it should
doable. If you don't, it will take some time.

But there seems to be ASF muxer for Gstreamer already.
