You should really squash those three (git-rebase is your friend).

IMO, this plugin should have a zero priority (set_capability). It is -
fundamentally- incapable of autoprobing.

Also, you really don't need to extend configure.ac here: the way you put it in 
Modules.am, it will always be built anyway. That's fine because it is small 
and has no external dependency.
