[vlc-devel] vlc-1.0.3, compillation erroe

hi all, 

i try to compile vlc-1.0.3 but get below error

../../include/vlc_threads.h:241: error: parse error before "vlc_spinlock_t"

and vlc_threads.h contains at this line 241 below line

typedef pthread_spinlock_t vlc_spinlock_t

Is there any work around to fix above error!
