[vlc-devel] Compile vlc with gcc 4.2.1 sjlj (mingw32-2)

In fact, I have to add one step to the procedure written in the link above.
It is the update of the m4 with m4-1.4.7-MSYS.tar.bz2.

Finally I could compile vlc on the Msys+mingw. The resulting VLC is based on
gcc 3.4.5 (mingw-vista special r3). My question is still how can I update
the mingw to gcc 4.2.1 as in your release VLC available on your site web
