Dear Remi,

According to your reply, VLC media player can not play the stream which is
coming through IPV6 multicast/unicast address.
Am I getting it right ?

Regards
Deepti

The design of the RTSP/1.0 protocol, as defined per IETF RFC2326, is such
that IPv6 is not allowed by the protocol syntax.
So evidently, VLC cannot do RTSP over IPv6 either.
