Yes I already tried it with your fix included but unfortunately it still 
happens. On win32 it
never crashed so he was right it's a different bug. Recompiled 
libvlc.dll libvlccore.dll vlc.exe
replaced the binary and tested.

I will do a fresh build and re-test.
