I think I found the reason why. I committed a solution (3dfec6e849...). Can
somebody test how it performs with the udev plugin (which was mentioned in
the ticket #3114 as heavily influenced by the bug)?

BTW: I apologize for not accepting the ticket, but I never knew about it.
I'm new to trac... I've just registered and I can see tickets assigned to
me, but can not interact with them in any way. I guess somebody has to set
some permissions...
