[vlc-devel] mainmediasoft.com using videolan in closed source

I have been informed by a friend that it seems that
http://www.mainmediasoft.com is selling a closed source F4V encoder
which, when used to convert an arbitrary AVI file, produces an F4V file
which contains a reference to www.videolan.org.
