[vlc-devel] [PATCH] -- several patches for review

Hi,

  Please, find attached a few patches for which you may wish to
comment/object before applying them

- patch1/patch2:
   on Win32, vlc thread management doesn't seem fully compliant with
msdn documentation.
   Those two patches should remedy this.

- patch3:
    fix a regression introduced recently that alters uri on Windows.

- patch4:
   supporting still images in their uri format (file://...) has become
really needed.
   I know fake module isn't regarded as the best design, but at least,
it works fine.
   Having it detect these uri should still be better than just getting
error dialog boxes ?


- patch5:
   cleanup on mediadirs, and ensure still images are displayed both as
art and video.
   (no more vlc://pause:10 that worked fine only on qt4 interface with
complete display mode)
