[vlc-devel] change language string in vlc

Hi,Dear all,
     I have complied vlc-1.0.4 in cygwin,Now I want to change some strings in vlc menu with poedit,I find .mo file has been produced in dir /po,after compiled,enter cygwin\usr\local\share\locale,vlc.mo don't changed,so menu has not been changed,Why?
