[vlc-devel] Any suggestion on soap client?

Folks,

In my custom VLC module, I need to make a Web service call when "Open" is invoked on the module. I am wondering if anyone has done something similar and if you have any advice/recommendations.  I am currently looking at gSOAP toolkit http://www.cs.fsu.edu/~engelen/soap.html.
