[vlc-devel] some questions--gsoc

i want to candidate my self to the following ideia:: VLC Test Suite
from the list::http://wiki.videolan.org/SoC_2011

i would like to know more about this ideia::
1) for this ideia i will write code  just in C language?
2) from where i could see some previous version of the work to do  or at
least similar things
