[vlc-devel] Lua Scripts persistence and usability

Regarding the recent update of some lua scripts, it seems the vlc releases 
aren't fast enough to deal with some providers changes.

Can we make possible to provide scripts updates outside main releases ?

Scripts exists, but unless reading documentation, lua sources or try, the user 
has no real way to know what could be done.

Is there a way (or possibility to extend module intf) for the lua 
access/playlist module to 'export' (towards intf modules) a list and 
description of the installed lua files ?
