Just a few remarks:

First, as you can see include/vlc_common.h is not relicensed, yet.
Therefore, libVLC and libVLCcore are not technically LGPL yet.
This will be done, as soon as some administrative details are handled.
Moreover, this will help, if some issue arise, in the next days/weeks.

Then, by default, all commits on vlc core and libvlc are now LGPLv2+.
Commits not compatible with those licenses might get reverted.

Let me remind you that the AUTHORS line in the file is MORE important
than the Copyright line :)
