Argh... it doesn't compile because you must convert C++ string to C
string in DOMParser.cpp lines 108 and 113
I'll test on a 64-bit machine this evening at home.

Just a few minor remarks bout the build instruction section:
Why disabling mkv ? It doesn't seem necessary.
Also I suggest you remove the line about the sym link to libxml and
that you replace ffmpeg 6.3 by ffmpeg 7.6.
