[vlc-devel] multicast stream receiving problems

Hi there,

I am using vlc source 2.1.0 from git repo for multicast streaming.

I am cross compiling on ubuntu / mint and running on windows 7 machines.

The cross compiled binary works well with udp multicast streams with high
bandwidth machine. But often with slightly low bandwidth (about 2mb), there
is buffering, play back hanging and pauses.

When diagnosing, i used some released version of vlc (2.0.4 or earlier)
which plays stream perfectly fine at the same bandwidth.

I originally moved to 2.1.0 git version because of installer generation
script issue i.e. i was told on forums that 2.4.0 and 2.5.0 source has
problems generating nsis installer and witnessed the same.

Can some one please confirm / help if there are any buffering / delay /
hanging issues with multicast streaming in the version 2.1.0 git code? If
so any advice to resolve those would be really helpful.
