Yes, I'm seriously thinking about adding a "View" menu to provide a more reasonable home for last 3 menu items recently added to the Playback menu.
We could also add a quick way to switch between embedded and non-embedded video output mode as well as shortcuts to hide the sidebar and possibly even the drop zone. All of these were requested quite a bit.

I wasn't aware of this feature after 11 years of using the Finder. It's definitely a nifty place, but may not be that easy to find. Duplicating the UI in this additional context would make sense IMO.
