[vlc-devel] Is it okay to disable lua, dbus and notify?

Folks,

I am building a minimal version of vlc 2.1.2 that is supposed to handle just .mp4 files (h264, aac and subtitles). I am wondering if I will run into any problem if I disable lua, dbus and notify.

 --disable-lua
 --disable-dbus
 --disable-notify

What do these three modules do anyway?
